Boxed Water Makes a Splash

August 24, 2007 -- New Orleans, Louisiana -- BWW -- Esgee Enterprises LLC, based in New Orleans, introduced boxed water branded as Aqua2Go in December, 2006. The 100% purified water in aseptic packaging has resonated with consumers as an alternative to PET bottles. Traditionally aseptic boxes have been used in the juice industry in the United States and in the dairy industry in Europe. Smaller 8.45-ounce boxed juices with attached straws are particularly popular with children. According to an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show with Ms. Griffin, the concept of the aseptic box for water was a result of her daughter at a Florida beach asking for water when offered a juice box. The recyclable drink boxes are made by TetraPak Inc and have a shelf life of five years.

Ms. Griffin was named of the Ten Top Female Achievers and profiled in last month's Issue of New Orleans Magazine. For more information visit: www.wateronthego.com.
