AQUA2GOŽ donated to the Greater New Orleans Disaster Recovery Partnership (GNODRP) for a fundraiser on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 6-9pm in Orleans Parish. The organization plans to celebrate the success of the collaboration of over 60 agencies that have worked together to assist 868 client cases that have been funded through the Long Term Recovery Organizations.

The organization states, "On the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, many residents of the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans are still struggling to rebuild their homes. Brad Pitt started the "Make it Right" project to help these displaced residents preserve the unique culture and spirit of the Lower Ninth Ward. Together we can continue to rebuild a neighborhood inspired by safe and sustainable "green" homes in one of the hardest hit communities in Louisiana." The 6th Annual Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game took place on June 23rd and it was more all-star than your everyday All-Star game!
